Eatmarna is a smart phone app by Ministry of hajj and umrah to facilitate people interested to visit holy places in Makkah & Madina to perform Umrah, to pray nawafil in Madina at holy Rawda & to pray in the Holy Haram in Makkah. Anyone who intends to visit Haram in Makkah or Madina is required to get a permit through Eatmarna application and only then he or she is allowed to visit and pray there.
In this post, we will explain how to add companion in Eatmarna and how to resolve issue about Tawakkalna registration when trying to add companion in Eatmarna.
Adding Companion in Eatmarna: Tawakkalna Registration Error
When adding your family member (dependent) as a companion in Eatamarna application, you might face issue/error stating that you must be first registered in Tawakalna. Eatmara app and Tawakalna application are integrated and it is checked as a mandatory requirement that a person should have already a registration on Tawakalna app and only then that person can be added as a companion in Umrah application (Eatmarna).
However, in order to create account on Tawakalna application, Absher verification is required and problem is that dependents don’t have their separate Absher Accounts. To mitigate this issue, there is an option available in Absher using which you can verify your dependent’s mobile number on Absher for Tawakalna and then that dependent can proceed with the registration on Tawakalna application.
In order to verify a companion mobile number on Absher, you can login to your Absher account using Absher Mobile Application and then choose E-Services -> General Services -> Register a Mobile Number for Tawakkalna
Using this option you will have to provide ID and mobile number of the person whom you want to register for Tawakkalna. An OTP will be sent to that number and once OTP is entered and validated, mobile number will be valid for Tawakkalna and you can proceed registering in Tawakkalna app using that number.
Once Tawakkalna registration is completed, you can easily add your companion on Eatmarna application by clicking on Add Companion button for any type of permit you selected on Services Page.
