Earlier, there was no online option to check Fahas status but now, Absher has added a new service which can be used to check Fahas status online. Using this Absher service, you can check your vehicle inspection date and by that you can know whether Fahas is valid or not as it is necessary for any vehicle to get Fahas inspection done every year (except for new cars with age less than 3 years).
Below are the steps to check Fahas online in Saudi Arabia using Absher:
- Login to your Absher account using your username & password. Enter your OTP that you will receive on registered mobile number.
- Under Electronic Services choose Vehicles–>Services.
- Now select Vehicles Management option and once you click on this, you will get list of vehicles registered under your name as My Vehicles.
- Click on the vehicle for which you want to check Fahas status online and you should be able to see all details about the car including Inspection Date.
If inspection date is less than a year from current date for any vehicle older than 3 years, It means Fahas is valid otherwise, Fahas is expired and a new inspection in any MVPI (Fahas) center is required to get a new Fahas Sticker and to get Fahas status updated.
