How to Check How Many SIMs on Your Iqama in Saudi Arabia?
Being a legal resident in KSA, you are allowed to have multiple SIMs on your name based on your Iqama but you need to know that it is solely your responsibility to ensure that your SIM card is not used for any illegal purposes. If your SIM is used by anyone for any type of illegal activity, you are subject to severe penalties. Hence, it is extremely important that you should know how many SIMs are issued on your name through your Iqama. Why to Cancel a SIM in Saudi Arabia from Your Iqama?
There can be a plenty of reasons for Cancelling a SIM card in Saudi Arabia which is registered on your name based on your Iqama. Some of the reasons are as below:
- You purchased a SIM for a telecom service which is not having any good service in your region and you have already started using another network.
- You purchased a SIM of a Telecom company because of some specific call/data packages but that company is no more offering your desired packages at your desired prices.
- You purchased a SIM on your iqama but that SIM is lost/misplaced and no more in your custody.
- Your limit for total number of SIMs is reached and you still need some additional SIM and you don’t want to cancel some of the existing SIMs.
- You are going on Final Exit and you wish to cancel all SIMs registered under your Iqama to leave with a clean chit (but even if you don’t cancel, those will get automatically cancelled after your final exit)
How to Cancel SIM in Saudi Arabia from your Name?
If you want to cancel a SIM from your name/iqama, you can use either of the following options as per your convenience:
- Call helpline of the telecom operator and request for cancellation of your SIM.
You can approach your respective Telecom company for SIM cancellation request by dialing their helpline number and then follow the steps as directed by IVR. Below are the helpline numbers for all Telecom Operators working in Saudi Arabia:

- Visit Telecom Operator Service Centre and Request for SIM Cancellation
This is a straight forward option to visit any of their offices/service centers nearby and request the staff to initiate SIM Cancellation request. They will check your original Iqama and then from the system, initiate the request.

If you are not entertained by the Telecom company from any of the above options and your grievances are not addressed as desired, you can always register online complain with CITC as an escalation option.
