What is Saudi Arabia Transit Visa?

Saudi Arabia Transit visa also known as stop-over transit visa is a visa category that can be availed by the travelers of Suadia or Flynas airlines with a transit through KSA. This Saudi Arabia transit visa will be issued to the passengers of these two Saudi Airlines if they want to visit any cities in KSA during the transit period. Visa will be issued to allow transit travelers to stay in Saudi Arabia for a maximum period of 4 days.

How to Get Saudi Arabia Transit Visa Online?

Saudi Arabia Transit Visa issuance is started from Monday 30th January 2023. Application can be submitted when availing ticket of Saudia or Flynas. There is no fees currently for this transit visa and passengers can avail it for free together with the flight ticket.

Can I perform Haj or Umrah on Saudi Arabia Transit Visa?

You can not perform Hajj on a Transit Visa as you need to follow the formal process to be eligible to perform Hajj. However, you can perform Umrah on a Transit Visa of Saudi Arabia. You can also visit holy city of Madinah and pray at Masjid e Nabvi on Saudi Arabia transit visa.

What is the Validity of Saudi Arabia Transit Visa?

As stated earlier, you can stay for a maximum of 4 days on a transit visa in Saudi Arabia. Also note that once you get a transit visa together with your ticket; the maximum validity of Saudi Transit Visa is 3 months. You must use your transit visa within 3 months otherwise it will get expired.
