We mentioned in that post that you can opt for a home delivery of your passport in any location in Saudi Arabia by using this new service offered by Consulate/embassy in coordination with UPS/Aramex delivery services.
How to benefit from Passport home delivery service in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani Passport
Once you have visited embassy or consulate and followed all the required steps for submission of your application for new passport or passport renewal, you will be asked at their last counter for an optional service for passport home delivery. This service is provided by UPS/Aramex which provides you a convenience to get your passport delivered at your doorstep without any hassles of visiting the embassy another time for passport collection.
For opting this service, you will have to pay the delivery charges (I paid 20 SAR for this service) and the staff at the counter will get your contact number, token and will hand over to you a receipt containing details about this service and your token number written by hand on it. The good thing about this delivery service is its flexibility as you just need tell them your district information. Once passport is with the delivery personnel, he will call you to ask where exactly you want it to be delivered. You can choose your office, home or any location of your convenience. For my case, the delivery guy called me in the evening so I just explained to him my home location and was there within half an hour with my passport.
Once delivery man reaches your location, he will ask your for the receipt as a proof that you are the right person to deliver the passport. He will write your Iqama number in his record and will hand over passport to you.
Please note that you are not obliged to pay any additional money to the delivery man as charges are paid pre-hand when opting for this service. Another point to note is that while opting for delivery option, staff at the counter will ask you if you have any plans for any outside travel urgently or not. If not, they will put a cancel stamp on your old passport. In that case, you don’t need to visit embassy/consulate again to get this cancel stamp on your old passport.
