Documents Required for Saudi Arabia Family Visit Visa
In order to apply for family visit visa for Saudi Arabia for your family members, if you have a valid iqama with expiry date more than 3 months; you will need following important documents/information of your family member to whom you want to bring in Saudi Arabia on a family visit visa:
- You should have all details of the family member as per his/her passport. This includes Full Name, Date of Birth, Passport number etc.
- You should have an active Absher and Nafath account.
- You don’t need to attach passport or any other identity document of the family member with your application in Saudi Arabia. However those will be required in your home country when submitting for visa stamping from Embassy.
Steps to Apply for Family Visit Visa Saudi Arabia Online in 2023
- Visit MOFA site and change the language to English if you are not comfortable with default Arabic language.
- Now select Services for Citizens and Residents option. You have to choose this option because you are a resident with an iqama of Saudi Arabia.
- In the next step choose Resident tab and select Family Visit Visa Application for Residents option and click on Apply button.
- You will be required to login using Single Sign on Option provided by Nafath (Nafaz). Note that you should have Nafaz account which is actually linked to your Absher account.
- After successfully login by providing OTP from your registered mobile number, you may proceed with the subsequent application steps.
- Some of the information will be pre-fetched and populated in the first application step. However you will have to carefully fill remaining details like:
- Address (Choose the same city where you will get your application attested from Chamber of commerce. It should match the city of your sponsor/company to avoid any hassles).
- Visa Type: Choose زيارة أفراد الأسرة i.e. (Family Visit)
- Your Saudi Visa number which you can find from your passport visa sticker.
- Now you have to click on Add button and add details of the family member to whom you want to bring in Saudi Arabia on a family visit visa.
- Provide all details as required for the family member. Make sure all information is added correctly as any incorrect information may result in application rejection.
- You can add multiple family members by pressing the Add button again and adding details of additional family members.
- Be careful to choose the correct visa type as you have option of single-entry or multi-entry visit visa. Note that single entry family visit visa is valid for 90 days but it can also be extended twice for another 90 days making it to a maximum of 270 days without exiting the Kingdom. On the other hand, multiple entry family visit visa is valid for 90 days with multiple exit-entry option and it can be extended through Tawasul request for another 30 days.
- Once all required information has been aded, you have to agree to terms and submit the request.
- You will get a reference number for your visa application and later you can check MOFA Visit Visa Application Status using that reference number.
