Saudi Arabia has gradually resumed Umrah which initially got started for residents and citizens who are already in Saudi Arabia and now they are going to start International Umrah as well from November.
In this article, we will talk about SOPs and rules that must be followed for International Umrah travellers in current circumstances of corona pandemic.

SOPs for International Umrah Travellers to Saudi Arabia

* Only People in the age bracket between 18 and 50 will be allowed for Umrah.
* All those who want to come on Umrah Visa will have to prove themselves free of corona by providing PCR Test result from authorized laboratories from respective countries.
* PCR Test results need to be valid and it is mandatory that duration between PCR sample collection and travel to Saudi Arabia shouldn’t exceed 72 hours.
* It is also mandatory for Mutamers to book time slots for Umrah and prayers in Masjid Al Haram as well as for Ziyarat in Masjid e Nabvi. All these bookings can be done through Eatamarna application.
* Each Mumter must have a return ticket so that he returns back to home country before visa expiry.
* It is also mandatory during 3 days isolation period to book for food along with residence to avoid eating outside.
* Umrah companies are responsible for providing guidelines and assist Mutamers and brief them about all these SOPs.
* Mutamers will be groups in the groups of 50 people and each group will have one guide
