Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has announced a mechanism for all Non-Saudis arriving to Saudi Arabia to register their vaccination status through Muqeem Portal before travelling to Saudi Arabia.
It has been advised for all travellers including those who are vaccinated as well as those who are not vaccinated to register their vaccine status through Muqeem Link.
Who Needs to Register Vaccine Status in Muqeem Before Travelling to Saudi Arabia?
Arrival Registration through Muqeem Portal is required for all Non-Saudi Travellers prior to their departure to Saudi Arabia.
All Non-Saudi travellers who are about to travel to Saudi Arabia including GCC citizens, Iqama holders, new visa holders and companions need to register their vaccination status. This includes both immune as well as non-immune travellers. Hence, you are required to register your vaccine status through Muqeem Link whether you haven’t received any dose of Covid-19 vaccine, have received one dose or even if you are fully immune by receiving full doses of corona vaccine.
Why We Need to Register Vaccine Status Through Muqeem Before Travelling to Saudi Arabia?
Saudi authorities (Jawazat) has directed travellers to register vaccine status through Muqeem link prior to their departure as this information will help in speeding up the entry procedures at Saudi ports and reduce the wait time and any heavy queues as a measure to better control the crowd to curb the spread of corona virus.

How to Register Vaccine Status in Muqeem for Travelling to Saudi Arabia?
For those Non-Saudis travelling to Saudi Arabia on any type of visa, it is required to visit Muqeem Link and register vaccine status prior to departure.
Visit Muqeem Arrival Registration Link and choose from available options based on your visa type and immune status. Visitors on visit visa will be choosing Vaccinated Visitor or Not Vaccinated Visitor based on their immune status. Similarly, residents (iqama holders) will choose from Vaccinated Resident or Not Vaccinated Resident based on their vaccination status.
As an example, if you are an Iqama holder and you want to travel to Saudi Arabia, choose Vaccinated Resident option and then provide required details (iqama number and date of birth).
Please note that below are the conditions specified for vaccinated resident:
1- Your health condition in Tawakkalna should be one of the following: Immune, Immune by first dose, Immune by recovery.
2- Entering the information before departure to the Kingdom with a maximum of 72 hours.
3- Acknowledgment of the accuracy of the entered information and the correctness of the information will be verified upon issuance of the boarding pass and at the entry points, and failure to comply with these requirements makes it open to preventing entry to the Kingdom and the legal consequences.
4- Those under the age of 18 should be registered as dependents for the requester.
5- Residents with domestic professions are not required to register in case they are coming with their employer.
