Is Umrah allowed on Tourist Visa?
Yes, Umrah is allowed on Tourist Visa. I entered through Jeddah Airport and was in Ihram. Airport immigration officer confirmed that its completely fine to travel to Saudi Arabia on Tourist visa with intention of Umrah.
Do you need a Mahram or can a woman travel alone?
You do not require a Mahram for Tourist visa and Yes women can apply and travel by themselves.
Airport Immigration Experience on Tourist Visa in Saudi Arabia
It was as smooth as it could be. Separate area with sofas and dedicated counters for Tourist Visa holders. I was offered a seat, they took my finger prints, stamped my passport and wished me a blessed trip. No other questions asked.
Visa Process for Applying Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa from UAE on Pakistani Passport
I had posted about it earlier as well. I got it from UAE as i am a resident here. Had to physically go to VFS Tasheel office and apply. Documents required were Bank Statement (3 months + ), photo, NOC from company, hotel booking, flight reservation and itinerary. Processing time was 1 day. Total fee paid was around 495 AED equivalent to 21000 PKR approximately.
Visa process from Pakistan for Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa
I do Not have first-hand experience from Pakistan. However, i asked the Saudi Immigration Lady about it. She said tourist visa can be obtained from Saudi Embassy in Pakistan but people i know have not had any luck with Etimad. A couple of people i met in Saudi Arabia told me they got it from Saudi Consulate in Islamabad.
