Legally; any person with a valid iqama is currently allowed to have a maximum of two SIM cards under one iqama and no one is allowed to get any new number if he or she has already reached this limit. Being a law abiding resident in Saudi Arabia; it is responsibility of each and every one to ensure that any numbers which have been issued under his name should not be used illegally for any purposes. Everyone must check and ensure that how many numbers are registered under his or her iqama and should take necessary steps to get any such numbers blocked which are not being used by him/her to avoid any future problems.
In this post; I will explain how you can check number of SIM cards issued on your iqama from different mobile operators like STC, Mobily & Zain.
How many STC SIMs on my Iqama
If you are using a STC sim; you can check the number of total SIMs of STC under your iqama by typing a SMS with the text 9988 and send it to 902. STC will send you a reply with information about total number of STC SIMs issued under your iqama.
How many Mobily SIMs on my iqama
If you are a mobily customer; you can get information about total mobily SIMs issued on your iqama by sending a blank message on the number 616166. You will get Mobily reply with the count of the SIMs issued on your identity.
How many Zain SIMs on my iqama
For Zain customers; to get the total number of issued SIM cards on your iqama; they need to send a blank message on the number 700123.
Getting total number of issued SIMs without sending message
If you want to get the count of total SIMs issued on your iqama from any mobile operator in Saudi Arabia and are not able to send SMS for any reason (e.g. if you don’t have an available SIM of that operator); the other option is to visit the sales office of the respective telecom operator and get this information from the officer there. The officer will check on the system and will immediately tell you how many SIMs of that network are under your iqama. You can then request him on the spot to get any such numbers terminated if you don’t want to use them anymore.
You can also use CITC service to check all available SIMs under your iqama.
