The vaccination status and health information of people living in Saudi Arabia is updated in Tawakkalna and people need to show their vaccination status through Tawakkalna Application for travelling purposes as well as for majority of the activities inside Kingdom as authorities want to ensure that only vaccinated people with immune status are allowed to proceed with most of the activities to avoid the spread of corona virus.

For people who have taken their Corona vaccine doses outside Saudi Arabia and want to get their health status updated in Tawakkalna, it is required to follow a proper online process after getting doses of approved (accepted) vaccine types from outside Saudi Arabia.

In this article, we will explain how to update Covid-19 vaccine status in Tawakkalna after taking corona vaccine dose outside KSA in any other country.

How to Update Vaccine Status in Tawakkalna with Vaccine Dose Taken Outside Saudi Arabia

If you are a Saudi Citizen or a Saudi Resident (Iqama holder) and you have received Covid 19 vaccine shots outside Saudi Arabia of  Saudi Arabia approved vaccine type, you can proceed with the below process and get your vaccination status updated in Tawakkalna.

You need to visit MOH Registration Link for Covid Vaccine Registration and carefully read all the instructions and then agree those instructions and proceed to next page.

Now choose between Saudi Citizen and Resident from the list. If you are Iqama holder, choose Resident and click next.

In the next screen, you are required to provide Iqama number, Iqama Expiry Date in Hijri and enter captcha code.

For Iqama Expiry date, you can check Iqama Expiry Date through Absher or If you don’t have access to Absher, you can check Iqama Expiry Date without Absher as well.

In the subsequent steps, you will have to provide details of your vaccine doses, e.g. you can select two Pfizer dozes or Two AstraZeneca doses, Two Moderna Doses, 1 Janssen dose or any other vaccine types that you find in the drop down list.

Note: You will get OTP on your registered/provided phone number and also on email address that you provide while registering your details here.

You will have to provide dates of the doses as well which should match to the vaccine certificate.

Once you have filled all details, you also need to attach following:

• A PDF copy of your passport Front Page.
• A PDF with Vaccine Certificate(s).

Once you submit your application, you will get a confirmation as below and you will have to wait up-to five days to get your vaccination status updated in Tawakkalna in case your request gets approved.

How to Update Tawakkalna Vaccine Status with One Dose Taken in Saudi Arabia & Second Dose from Outside KSA?

Many people got their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia (Either Pfizer or AstraZeneca) and then they travelled back to their home countries (Pakistan, India etc.) and they got stuck in those countries due to travel ban.

Such people who got one dose of Corona Vaccine in Saudi Arabia and second dose in another country like Pakistan, India; they are also eligible to get their vaccine status in Tawakkalna updated by following the above procedure.

E.g. If you got your first dose of Corona vaccine in Saudi Arabia, your immune status in Tawakkalna will be already as Immune by First Dose. In that case, you should get a copy of your Vaccine certificate from Sehaty for your Saudi Vaccine. Now if you got your second dose in your home country, you should get a certificate of that one dose from your country authorities. As an example, people who got one dose in Pakistan, they are able to get a NADRA certificate of one dose by paying 100 PKR .

Now after having both certificates available, when uploading your vaccination certificate for Corona Vaccine Registration in MOH, make sure that you create one PDF File containing both Saudi and outside Saudi Arabia certificate.

In this way, you can submit your request to MOH Saudi Arabia and they will verify and validate your request and if all goes well, you should be able to get your vaccine status updated to full Immune (Immune by 2 doses) in Tawakkalna.
