Saudi Iqama Fees 2023: MOI Iqama Fees to Issue Saudi Iqama and Renew Saudi Iqama
MOI (Ministry of Interior) iqama fees is a yearly fees which can also be paid on periodic basis now. MOI Iqama fees is SR 650 per year (i.e. for 12 months). If you want to pay Iqama fees on quarterly basis, it will be calculated as below:
Saudi Iqama Fees for 3 months: SR 163
Saudi Iqama Fees for 6 months: SR 325
Saudi Iqama Fees for 9 months: SR 488
Maktab Amal Fees (Work Permit Fees) for Saudi Iqama
For Saudi Iqama renewal, work permit fees also known as Maktab Amal Fees also needs to be paid. Work Permit fee is 800 SR per month which is calculated as 9600 Saudi Riyal per year. Work Permit Fees can also be paid periodically for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months or for a whole year.
However, it is important to mention here that depending on the level of Saudization in a company, Work Permit Fees has some discounts. E.g. if a company has 50% Saudization, then Maktab Amal Fees per month is reduced to 700 SR.
Saudi Arabia Dependent Fees 2023: Family Fees for Iqama Renewal in 2023
For those people who have family (dependents) with them in Saudi Arabia, dependent fees also needs to be paid. Dependent Fees is also known as dependent levy, dependent tax, family tax or family levy.
Expat has to pay 400 SR per dependent per month. For example, if you have a wife and a baby with you on a permanent family visa in Saudi Arabia, you have to pay 800 SR per month for your two dependents.
Iqama Fees 2023 for Saiq Khas (House Driver), Gardener, Maid
For some small domestic worker professions like family driver (Saiq Khas), Gardener, House maid etc. Iqama Fees is less. For such professions there is no Work Permit Fees.
Also, for small employers with less than 5 employers, such exemption exist.
