Pakistani economy is greatly relying on hundreds of thousands of overseas Pakistanis who are working in different countries around the world and sending a huge sum of remittances every month which contributes in country’s economic growth and cash in-flow and in the up-gradation of life-style of their relatives living inside Pakistan. This Pakistani work-force working in any country has always faced different types of legal, administrative, technical and support issues which are directly or indirectly related to the respective embassies/consulates or issues of any such nature where any guidance, support and intervention of respective authorities can greatly help them.
There are Two Ways that Overseas Pakistanis can opt to register a Complaint:
1. Register Complain Using Call Sarzameen App
Keeping in mind the concerns and grievances of overseas Pakistanis and to facilitate them in a more convenient manner, Government of Pakistan through its overseas ministry has taken a new initiative by launching a mobile app with the name “Call Sarzameen” which enables overseas Pakistanis living in different countries to register complaints for a quick redressal of their issues.
What is Call Sarzameen App?
Call Sarzameen App is a mobile application launched by Government of Pakistan (overseas ministry) and is developed by National IT Board, Islamabad. After registering on this app, overseas Pakistanis can register complaints so that their complaints reach to the respective authorities instantly. According to the news clipping below, PM’s special assistant for overseas Zulfi Bukhari himself monitors the complaints logged through this app and all complaints are immediately forwarded to respective authorities.
What Kind of Complaints Can be registered through Call Sarzameen App?
You can register complaints about different parties including OPF, Pakistan embassies & High commissions in various countries, EOBI etc.

2. Register Complain Using Citizen Portal App
Overseas Pakistanis can register any complaints using Citizen Portal application as well. In this App, under the category “Overseas Pakistani”, you can register a complain related to Pakistan Embassy/Consulate in your resident country, Pakistan Foreign Office or you can address a complain directly to the prime minister.
Using this application, you can register a complain if you face any issues related to documents attestation, visa and passport issues, any corruption cases, lack of support or any kind of issues that you wish to bring into the notice of the respective authorities or concerned officials.
For any complaints registered through Citizen Portal, you will be able to track the complain and see the status of the entire work-flow. Upon completion of your complain processing, you will be able to see the resolution details and you may raise your concerns again through your feedback if you are not satisfied from the solution.
