You will be fined if you commit any kind of traffic violations including Over-speeding, wrong parking, passing through red lights and for a number of other offenses. System for imposing fines, notifying to the violators and payment of the fines is mainly online and well formalized. How to Check Traffic Violation Fines in Saudi Arabia
For any traffic rules violations, you will be notified through SMS message from MOI-MOROOR containing details about the penalty on your mobile number registered in the system against your vehicle. However, in worst case scenario there is possibility that message isn’t received by you due to network issues etc. It is recommended to keep an eye on your Absher account to keep you aware of any traffic violations in such case.
You can login to MOI Absher account to check details about all the traffic violations that you have made. After logging into your Absher account go to My Dashboard–>Traffic Violations to know about total traffic violations (pending payment) and associated amount. You can click on More Details button to get further details about the offense including violation date, time etc. You will notice two tabs–one with details of the fines not yet paid and other with the details of the fines that you have paid already.
How to Pay Traffic Violations Fines Online in Saudi Arabia
Online banking services offered by all banks in Saudi Arabia provide facility to pay your outstanding traffic fines online in a convenient manner. Exact steps to pay your traffic fines online might vary on different bank’s system. However, In this post, I will share with you the details on how you can pay your traffic fines online through SAMBA bank online.
Login to your SAMBA online banking account. Make sure you have sufficient balance available in your account to pay your outstanding fines. Under Banking Services choose SADAD Bills–>Government Services. You will see a new form for SADAD Bills. Under Payment tab, choose Traffic Violation from for Service Type from the dropdown menu. For the application type dropdown, you can opt for either querying your fines based on violator ID (Iqama number) or violation id (you can find violation id in the message received from MOROOR or from your Absher account).
By using any of the two options, you will find your pending traffic violation fines. Next, you can proceed to pay the fine by clicking on Pay option. Once the payment process is successful, you can verify from Absher as well as you will see that the fine details are now appearing in the tab of already paid fines.
