How to Get Iqama Medical For Saudi Arabia Iqama

For getting a new Iqama (Resident Permit) in Saudi Arabia, you need to go through a medical test in any of the authorized medical centre after entering the kingdom on the visa issued from your home country. This medical test is the second medical test that you undergo as one medical test is conducted in your home country through any GAMCA medical centre for issuance of the visa. In this article, we will explain steps for getting Iqama Medical for a Saudi Iqama.

Steps for Iqama Medical

For the Iqama medical conducted in Saudi Arabia, you need to visit the authorized medical centre along with your original passport (having visa stamped) and a passport size photograph.

After verifying your passport, you will be asked to pay the fees for the iqama medical (normally it is 150 SAR but might be slightly different depending on the medical centre) and also a mobile number where you will receive Efada SMS after your medical results are sent to Jawazat.

The medical centre will take blood and urine samples for checking your medical fitness. They will also conduct Chest X-Ray and eye-sight testing. A doctor in the hospital/medical centre will also physically examine you. Please note that the medical examination might differ in different medical centres. Some medical centres even go for a stool test as well.

Once your medical test is done (usually takes just 15 minutes or so), they will ask you to wait for Efada SMS after which your results will be online and the Iqama process may proceed after that.
